My entire life I’ve wanted to sing, but I was guided down a path of tragedy and lost hopes and dreams. I’m now a married 22 yr old mother of 3. I have a voice like Janis Jolpin and I’m finally ready to get up the nerve and show the world what I’ve got. My problem is that I’m an overweight female and everyone that I’ve tried to band with wants a perfect image woman up front and won’t even consider me. I’m drug back through more taunting and torture and don’t know what to do…Please help me. My family, my husband, and myself think I could make it some day. I especially want to try in these hard times. My husband lost his job in march and has been searching since, and two of my children are special needs. Dear Adele, Have I wanted to respond to your blog forever or what? Hey, I am a mom of a whole bunch of kids ages 20 down to 7, and they keep me up on all the current music. (Thank God too or I’d have missed some great music over the past 20 years). Anyway, I am proud to state however, that I have turned them on to YOU! They all love you too! Hey they know good music when they hear it. What really impresses us is, how natural and ‘unrehearsed’ you are; that you write nearly all your OWN songs—and if you do cover someone else’s song, it is perfect! But now you must try to clean up the ‘potty’ mouth on your blog—my little dears read it! I don’t want them to think that everyone uses off-colored words (just becauses they do and I hate it). Please keep up the good work and I hope you are not so stressed that you have turn to pills or other noxious substances just to keep up the crazy pace being AWESOME in the music industry (aka HELL) can be. You’re in our prayers and we’ll always look for new and exciting ADELE stuff (concerts—please come to Washington State in the U.S. again! )
